Individuals and groups interested in offering a workshop are invited to submit their proposals. Half and full day workshops are invited. Submission of workshop proposals will open on May 15, 2014. Proposals must be submitted by September 15, 2014 at the latest to be considered by the Congress organizers.
Workshops will be held after the Congress, on September 21, 2015. The venue will be the Hyatt Regency Town Center, Reston, VA (Washington, DC area) US.
The Fascia Research Congress primarily focuses on the latest and best research related to fascia. There is a great deal of interest in these subjects from the clinical community whose methods and hypotheses center on human fascia. Post-congress workshops will provide a forum for clinical practitioners to present and teach their methodologies and research questions in order to cross-educate other clinicians and stimulate new areas of inquiry by research scientists.
Submissions will be evaluated and selected by the Review Committee, which consists of key conference organizers. Selection will be based on scientific relevance and clinical perspectives in relationship to human fasciae.
Half and full day workshops are invited (Half day workshops may be given twice).
Registration for the post-conference workshops will be available to conference attendees for an additional fee, to be determined. Those planning to attend the workshops will be asked to indicate preference(s) at time of registration.
Workshop presenters are required to register for the conference, and will be given the following financial considerations: Presenters will be offered reduced (student) registration rates, and two nights lodging. Profits, after real costs associated with the venue, will be split equally between the presenter and the hosts. Costs will include location fees, AV equipment hire fee, refreshment provision and an organization fee.
Workshop presenters are strongly encouraged to emphasize relevant information gleaned from the preceding congress as well as stress how their workshop is supported by current research literature.
Please submit proposals using the online workshop proposal submission form no later than the 15th of September, 2014. We encourage proposals to be submitted early.
